Sarren is a sword and sorcery fantasy adventure that in the first chapter follows the exploits of the titular character from her training as a novice practitioner of magic, to her turbulent training to become a warrior. The chapters that follow are filled with colorful characters, action, mystery, and romance. The book is available at www.sarrenpublishing.com .

James S. Carroll is a graduate of S.M.S.U. and a lifelong resident of Noel, Missouri. Sarren, published April, 2010, is the first book of a trilogy. The next book, Sarren: Beyond Sarus, is due to be published, December, 2010.
