A new MWG chapter was formed on January 5, 2018 in the northern portion of Missouri. Organized by Ryan Patrick Freeman, the new chapter is up and running in Hannibal, Missouri. If you’re a writer north of I-70, there is now a chapter filled with fellow authors wanting to get together and improve their craft.

The next meeting will be on February 5th at the Mark Twain Brewing Company. More information can be found on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/HannibalWrites/.

MWG Vice-President Richard Snelson traveled to Hannibal to attend the first meeting of the newly forming Missouri Writers’ Guild Chapter. Ryan Patrick Freeman is seen here discussing ideas for future meetings. Ryan is a mover and shaker. He had lots of ideas for events and meetings. The group also contributed several good ideas. Richard’s part was to mainly to listen. He did give a short talk on the guild, the chapters and how we would hope to help the new Hannibal Missouri Writers’ Guild.
