The Poplar Bluff Municipal Library is hosting a Local Author Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m on Saturday, March 3, 2018. More than a dozen local authors will be available to discuss writing, publishing and what a thriving local literary scene offers to a community. Participating authors are selling copies of their works. The event is free and open to the public.
“Both the Local Author Fair and The Book in The Bluff are showcasing local talent this year!” said Liz Aleshunas, adult services librarian. “The 2018 Book in The Bluff author Paulette Jiles was born in Salem, Missouri. Local authors are presenting at the library fair on March 3 and Ms. Jiles is presenting her western novel News of the World at 7 p.m. on March 8 at Three Rivers College.”
The library is located at 318 North Main Street, Poplar Bluff MO. Visit the website poplarbluff.org, the Facebook page, call 573-686-8639, or visit the webpage poplarbluff.org/authorfair for updates and information.
